Spam mines when you have the muni, put it in critical common roads, chokepoints, in front of house buildings (causes instant wipes) Tech mollies if you see any mgs or if the opponent is hugging buildings a lot Since the maxim nerf, the common opening is 3 conscripts, 2nd engi if 1st engi is too busy or not at base (against better players its best to give 1 engi flames, extra engi minesweepers)Īt some point tech medics, doesnt have to be right now but you wont last mid game without them Use the appropiate commanders for the situations you need (heavy inf spam -> shocks, heavy vehicle use ->guards, endgame tanks -> shock rifle is2 or guard motor t34 85 or both with armored assault commnader) Luckily for you though almost all core default stock commanders are viable, specifically shock rifle, guard motor, guard rifle, and shock army Soviets are heavily commander dependent, that isnt saying though they cant win without commanders but it sure as ♥♥♥♥ makes high level play bareable Soviets are a complete faction, like ostheer, look at USF and OKW and youll notice they suffer a lot because they are missing a LOT of basic needs, like a good mg, a mortar, or even a sniper
